All American "8D" Hose has an outstanding record of durability and value in the fire hose market. It is clearly a favorite among fire fighting professionals. Each section is hydrostatically tested in accordance with NFPA 1961 latest edition, and is rated at 1200 psi (83 bar) for burst.

Our double jacketed rubber lined hose designed for attack and supply operations. The outer and inner jackets are made of Nylon and fit snugly together without bagging or bunching. The lining is extruded synthetic rubber formulated for ozone resistance, low friction loss, and long wear life.

The Dura-Cote treatment greatly increases abrasion, heat, flame and petrochemical resistance while virtually eliminating water pick-up. When treated, it is protected from mildew and no drying is required. The Dura-Cote treatment also increases the hose's resistance to chemicals, ultra-violet light, and abrasion. In addition, the process allows for a method of color coding the outer jacket for Iong lasting identification.

  • Optional Dura-CoteTM treatment greatly increases abrasion, heat, flame
    and petrochemical resistance while virtually eliminating water pick-up. When treated, 8D is protected from mildew and no drying is required.
  • Hose remains flexible to temperatures as low as -40°F (-40°C) and is highly resistant to ozone and oxidation.
