The ISG ELITE XR is the only imager in the world that can provide a clear thermal image up to Temperatures of 2,000 degrees.
Thousand-Plus Mode:
All microbolometer based cameras have two modes – high sense and low sense. High sense mode is used when the camera is in ambient environments. Low sense mode is used in hot firefighting environments. A typical competitive camera in low sense mode can see up to around 1000°F. But, to offer more, and added safety, Megapicture technology added a third mode called Thousand Plus Mode – to enable clear imaging in scenes to levels over 2000°F.
High Resolution Sensor:
The ELITE uses ISG’s megapicture 320X240 VOx microbolometer sensor with over 76,000 individual heat sensing pixels. The sensor used in the ELITE is exclusive to the ELITE and cannot be found in any other firefighting thermal imager. The ELITE shows you the way out – with no whiteout!
Biggest Fastest Lens:
Megapicture technology scans the fire scene for heat changes in the environment, analyzes them, and turns them into digital pictures. The number of scene elements you can analyze is a result of the number of scene sensing pixels and the speed in which the system can scan. Megapicture technology scans 4,608,000 scene elements each second. Typical competitive cameras only can scan up to 576,000 scene elements per second. The result is a much clearer image that helps firefighters see all resolvable detail in the scene.
Size & Weight:
The ELITE is a palm sized small form factor camera, yet carries big camera performance. The ELITE is under three pounds.
Supercell Batteries:
The ELITE uses Supercell batteries that has headroom to run continuously for over three hours; far in excess of a bottle of air. The batteries use tried and tested, proven NiMH technology. It is not an exotic battery, it is very simple, and hence it is low cost. Despite that, it offers performance that exceeds those of other exotic batteries used by other thermal imagers.
Extended Supercell Batteries:
For those who want extra capacity and run-time, the ELITE is optionally available with longer run-time batteries. The ISG Extended SuperCell Batteries give the FF an additional 2 hours of time.
Image & Video Capture:
The ELITE can be purchased with an optionally available frame capture capability. This works the same way as your digital camcorder. You press a button and the ELITE stores the image in on-board memory. When you are ready to download the images, simply connect the ELITE to your computer’s USB port and the computer thinks the ELITE is just another hard disk drive.
Truck Mounting System:
The Fast Attack Truck Mount System is a rugged and secure, powder coated aluminum mount that enables storage in an apparatus or command vehicle. With a quick-release mechanism and automatic charging capability, the system is designed to ensure that the imager will be totally operational when the apparatus arrives at the scene.
Waterproofing:
The ELITE is certified waterproof to the IP67 standard. That means it is completely submersible in up to three feet of water.
