Sigma - Piston Intake Valve
For over 30 years All American Hose has been providing quality water delivery hardware and accessories to the fire fighting industry. This experience keeps our products at the forefront of technological development and our Sigma Piston Intake Valve is the newest product to benefit from this experience. Redesigned from the bottom up through the use of Pro/ENGINEER 3-D CAD product design software and along with a computational fluid dynamics analysis the design has been optimized to be the most efficient in the industry. Improvements to the piston shape (and material), an anti-cavitation flow vane, and an increase in waterway area, have combined to decrease friction loss while increasing the flow capacity of the valve. Combine these improvements with a high strength cast aluminum, hardcoat anodized valve body and you have an Intake Valve that will last for years and years. This valve will flow more and last longer than any other design of its type.
